Starting my adventures.

As a busy mum I know I get a great deal of my information online, so when starting my business it made sense to set up a website and start to promote it on the internet to gain customers.

With no real knowledge or experience of internet marketing I have done bits and pieces here and there, as well as using more traditional marketing methods, flyers, print ads etc. All methods have had some results, but the number people finding my business from online activity and searches is definatley growing.

Recently I was introduced to another business opportunity, to add an additional income stream to my main business and while searching for information on this business I came across lots of people offering to teach/show me how to use online marketing effectively and to make money.

So far most of the people promoting these marketing systems seem to be men, and seem to do this as their main source of income. That's great - but as an already busy mum with an existing business is it something that can work for me, and therefore perhaps for other mums wanting to work around their children and existing commitments?

Through this blog I shall be attempting to answer this question and will let you know how I get on.
